The project and needs

We developed the mobile application for Live Me Up, a live shopping startup. Live shopping is a sales tool based on a new interactive customer experience. In a live stream, a host presents products while interacting with a community who can purchase the product featured in the video stream. This model is particularly effective for influencers on social networks.

The proposed solution

The application consisted of standard features such as SMS login or displaying a list of events. The most sensitive part was managing the video stream, for which a real-time stream with a response time of less than 0.5s was required (using WebRTC and the Phenix SDK).
